This is a bowl of warm veggie soup I recently prepared for new parents. A high protein salad, sliced fruits and veggies to dip into humus, along with hard boiled eggs were also prepared. These are all whole nutritious foods, easy to reheat or grab while cradling a newborn.
Helping with meal prep is one of many ways to help facilitate bonding with baby(s), and also reduce stress in the first days and weeks after birth.
